Sahih al-Bukhari 6551 (Book 81, Hadith 140) #6300
The Distance Between Two Shoulders of Non-Believers

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that the distance between the two shoulders of a non-believer is equal to the distance covered by a fast rider in three days.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The width between the two shoulders of a Kafir (disbeliever) will be equal to the distance covered by a fast rider in three days".

QUICK LESSONS:
Believe/Stay faithful towards Allah's teaching ; Follow what Prophet Muhammad PBUH said ; Stay close with God's teachings ; Take metaphorical lessons seriously .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that those who do not believe in Allah and His teachings are far away from Him. It also implies that it would take a long time for them to reach Him if they ever decide to turn back. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used this metaphor to explain how far away non-believers are from Allah and His teachings. He said that the width between their two shoulders is equal to the distance covered by a fast rider in three days. This means that it would take three days for someone on horseback or camelback to cover this same amount of ground - which is an incredibly long journey! This hadith reminds us of how important it is for us as Muslims to stay close to Allah and His teachings so we can be successful in our lives here on earth and in our afterlife too.
