Eternity and No Death

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ said that those in Paradise will be granted eternity and no death, while those in the Fire will also be granted eternity but no death.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, " It will be said to the people of Paradise, 'O people of Paradise! Eternity (for you) and no death,' and to the people of the Fire, 'O people of the Fire, eternity (for you) and no death!"
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ يُقَالُ لأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ خُلُودٌ لاَ مَوْتَ‏.‏ وَلأَهْلِ النَّارِ يَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ خُلُودٌ لاَ مَوْتَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the afterlife and what awaits us after we die. It tells us that those who are blessed with entry into Paradise will have eternal life without any fear of death. On the other hand, those who are condemned to Hellfire will also have eternal life but without any hope of ever escaping it. This hadith serves as a reminder for us to strive to do good deeds so that we can be rewarded with entry into Paradise and avoid being punished in Hellfire. It is important for us to remember that our actions now determine our fate later on in the hereafter.
