Sahih al-Bukhari 6539 (Book 81, Hadith 128) #6288
The Power of Charity on the Day of Resurrection

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will talk to everyone without an interpreter and those who can save themselves from the Fire should do so even with a small act of charity.

Narrated 'Adi bin Hatim: The Prophet said, "There will be none among you but will be talked to by Allah on the Day of Resurrection, without there being an interpreter between him and Him (Allah) . He will look and see nothing ahead of him, and then he will look (again for the second time) in front of him, and the (Hell) Fire will confront him. So, whoever among you can save himself from the Fire, should do so even with one half of a date (to give in charity).

QUICK LESSONS:
Give in charity even with half a date; Prepare for judgement day by doing good deeds; Strive for salvation through generosity and kindness; Be selfless when giving in charity

EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of resurrection, Allah will talk to every single person without any need for an interpreter. This is a reminder that we must be prepared for this day and make sure that we have done enough good deeds in our lifetime to be saved from the fire. One way to do this is by giving charity, even if it is only half a date. This hadith emphasizes how powerful charity can be in saving us from punishment on judgment day. It also shows us how small acts can have big impacts; even something as small as half a date can help us get closer to salvation. We should all strive to give more in charity and remember that it could mean the difference between being saved or punished on judgment day.
