The Best People in Each Generation

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that the best people are those of his generation, followed by the next generations, and then those who will come after them.

Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "The best people are those of my generation, and then those who will come after them (the next generation), and then those who will come after them (ie the next generation), and then after them, there will come people whose witness will precede their oaths, and whose oaths will precede their witness".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how each generation has its own set of people who are considered to be the best. According to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the best people are those of his generation, followed by the next generations, and then those who will come after them. He also mentioned that these later generations would have a different way of testifying or giving witness - their witness would precede their oaths and their oaths would precede their witness. This means that they will be more honest and trustworthy than previous generations as they won't need to swear an oath in order for others to believe them. It is important for us to remember this hadith when we think about our own lives and how we can strive to be better than our predecessors in terms of honesty and trustworthiness.
