Posture of the Prophet at Ka'ba

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad was seen in the courtyard of the Ka'ba in a particular posture.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: I saw Allah's Messenger in the courtyard of the Ka'ba in the Ihtiba'. posture putting his hand round his legs like this.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي غَالِبٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُلَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بِفِنَاءِ الْكَعْبَةِ مُحْتَبِيًا بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا‏.‏

This hadith narrates an incident where Ibn 'Umar saw the Prophet Muhammad in the courtyard of the Ka’ba. He was seen in a particular posture known as ‘Ihtiba’ which is when one wraps their arms around their legs while sitting down. This hadith serves to remind us that we should strive to emulate our beloved prophet and follow his example whenever possible.
