Respect for Seating Arrangements

SUMMARY: It is wrong to make someone get up from their seat in a gathering.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet said, "A man should not make another man get up from his (the latter's) seat (in a gathering) in order to sit there.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ، ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ
