Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet ﷺ said, "A man should not make another man get up from his (the latter's) seat (in a gathering) in order to sit there.
The Prophet Muhammad was known for his kindness and consideration towards others, even when it came to seating arrangements in a gathering. He taught us that we should always be respectful of one another's space and not try to impose our will on anyone else by making them give up their seat just so we can have it instead. This hadith reminds us that respect is an important part of any relationship or interaction between people, whether it is in a formal setting or informal setting like at home with family members or friends.
