The Unfavourable Name on the Day of Judgement

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will not be pleased with someone who calls himself "king of kings".

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "The most awful name in Allah's sight on the Day of Resurrection, will be (that of) a man calling himself Malik Al-Amlak (the king of kings).

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect each other, Be humble and modest in words and actions

EXPLANATIONS:
On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will judge all people according to their deeds. It is important to remember that we should always respect and honour each other. We should not call ourselves or anyone else with names that are too grandiose or boastful as this is displeasing to Allah. This hadith reminds us that we should be humble and modest in our words and actions. We must also remember that no one can compare to Allah in terms of power and authority; He is the only King of Kings.
