Care for the Departed in Paradise

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that his son, Ibrahim, would be taken care of in Paradise.

Narrated Al-Bara: When Ibrahim (the son of the Prophet) died, Allah's Messenger said, "There is a wet nurse for him in Paradise".
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ، قَالَ لَمَّا مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ـ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ ـ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ لَهُ مُرْضِعًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ

EXPLANATIONS:
When Ibrahim, the son of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) passed away, Allah's Messenger was comforted by knowing that he would be taken care of in Paradise. This hadith teaches us that those who have passed away will receive a reward from Allah and will be taken care of in Paradise. It is a reminder to us to always remember our loved ones who have passed away and to pray for them so they may receive mercy from Allah. We should also take comfort knowing that our loved ones are being looked after by Allah and are receiving His blessings.
