Kindness and Politeness towards Neighbors

SUMMARY: The Prophet was advised by Gabriel to be kind and polite to his neighbors.

Narrated 'Aisha: The Prophet said "Gabriel continued to recommend me about treating the neighbors Kindly and politely so much so that I thought he would order me to make them as my heirs.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَا زَالَ يُوصِينِي جِبْرِيلُ بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of being kind and polite to one's neighbors. The Prophet Muhammad was advised by the angel Gabriel to treat his neighbors with kindness and politeness. He was so impressed with this advice that he thought Gabriel would order him to make them his heirs. This hadith teaches us that we should always be respectful towards our neighbors no matter what their background or beliefs may be. We should show them kindness in our words and actions, as this will bring us closer together as a community. It also reminds us that we should not take advantage of our neighbor's good nature or trustworthiness for our own gain; rather, we should strive to build strong relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.
