Sahih al-Bukhari 5983 (Book 78, Hadith 14) #5743
Worship Allah and Keep Good Relations with Family for Paradise

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ advised a man to worship Allah alone, offer prayers perfectly, give obligatory charity (Zakat), and keep good relations with his family in order to enter Paradise.

Narrated Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari: A man said, "O Allah's Messenger ! Inform me of a deed which will make me enter Paradise". The people said, "What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him?" Allah's Messenger said, "He has something to ask (what he needs greatly)". The Prophet said (to him), (In order to enter Paradise) you should worship Allah and join none in worship with Him: You should offer prayers perfectly, give obligatory charity (Zakat), and keep good relations with your Kith and kin". He then said, "Leave it!" (The sub-narrator said, "It seems that the Prophet was riding his she camel".

QUICK LESSONS:
Worship God Alone; Offer Prayers Perfectly; Give Obligatory Charity/Zakat ; Keep Good Relationships With Family

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of worshipping Allah alone and keeping good relations with one's family. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked by a man what deed he should do in order to enter paradise. In response, the Prophet ﷺ advised him to worship Allah alone, offer prayers perfectly, give obligatory charity or zakat, and keep good relations with his kith and kin. These are all important values that Muslims should strive for in their lives as they are essential for entering paradise. It is important to remember that worshipping Allah means not associating any partners or idols with Him as He is the only one worthy of worship. Additionally, it is important to maintain strong relationships within our families as this will bring us closer together and help us build strong communities based on love and respect for each other. Finally, it is also essential that we pay our zakat regularly so that those who are less fortunate can benefit from it too. All these values combined will help us lead a life pleasing to God so we can be rewarded in the hereafter.
