Prohibitions of Undutifulness and Wastefulness

SUMMARY: Allah has forbidden us to be undutiful to our mothers, withhold or demand what we do not deserve, bury our daughters alive, talk too much about others, ask too many questions in religion and waste our property.

Narrated Al-Mughira: The Prophet said, "Allah has forbidden you ( 1 ) to be undutiful to your mothers II to withhold (what you should give) or III demand (what you do not deserve), and IV to bury your daughters alive. And Allah has disliked that (A) you talk too much about others ( B), ask too many questions (in religion), or (C) waste your property".

This hadith is about the prohibitions that Allah has set for us. We are not allowed to be undutiful to our mothers, withhold or demand what we do not deserve from them, bury our daughters alive, talk too much about others or ask too many questions in religion and waste our property. These are all things that Allah does not like us doing as they can lead to negative consequences. We should always remember that Allah knows best and He has given us these prohibitions for a reason. We should strive to follow His commands so that we can live a life of righteousness and peace.
