QUICK LESSONS:
Respectfully rest while inside a place of worship.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet (ﷺ) being seen lying down in a mosque with one leg on top of the other. This shows that it is permissible to lie down and rest while inside a mosque as long as it is done respectfully and not disruptively. It also teaches us that we should be mindful of our actions when we are inside a place of worship and respect its sanctity. Additionally, this hadith serves as an example for us to follow; if even our beloved prophet could take time out to rest while inside a mosque then surely we can too!
