The Pledge of Allegiance to Allah's Messenger

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) which includes offering prayers perfectly, paying Zakat (obligatory charity), and being sincere and true to every Muslim.

Narrated Jarir bin Abdullah: I gave the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger for the following: I offer prayers perfectly II pay the Zakat (obligatory charity) III and be sincere and true to every Muslim.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلَى إِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ‏.‏

This hadith is about the pledge of allegiance that Jarir bin Abdullah gave to Allah's Messenger. It helps us remember God and stay connected with Him throughout our day. Paying zakat is also an important part of being a Muslim because it helps those in need in our community. Finally, we must always be honest with each other by speaking truthfully and sincerely so that we can build trust between us all as Muslims.
