Obey God’s commands, strive for excellence regardless of physical appearance or age .

This hadith is about the physical description of the beloved prophet Muhammad. He was neither tall nor short, neither very white nor tawny in complexion, and his hair was neither much curled nor very straight. At the age of 40 he received revelation from Allah to become a prophet, after which he stayed for 10 years in Mecca and 10 more years in Medina before passing away at the age of 60 with only a few white hairs on his head and beard. This hadith teaches us that physical appearance does not matter when it comes to fulfilling one's purpose in life; what matters is faithfulness to Allah's commands. It also teaches us that even though we may be young now, we should strive to live our lives according to Allah's will so that when our time comes we can pass away peacefully knowing that we have done all that we could do for His sake.
