Sahih al-Bukhari 5872 (Book 77, Hadith 89) #5633
The Silver Ring of the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad had a silver ring made for himself with his name engraved on it, which was used to stamp letters he sent to non-Arabs.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Messenger wanted to write a letter to a group of people or some non-Arabs. It was said to him, "They do not accept any letter unless it is stamped". So the Prophet had a silver ring made for himself, and on it was engraved: 'Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah'. . as if I am now looking at the glitter of the ring on the finger (or in the palm) of the Prophet .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the importance of the Prophet Muhammad's silver ring. It was used to stamp letters that were sent to non-Arabs, as they would not accept any letter unless it was stamped. This shows us how much respect and reverence people had for the Prophet Muhammad and his teachings even outside of Arabia. It also serves as a reminder that we should always strive to be respectful and honourable in our dealings with others, no matter who they are or where they come from. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us about the importance of having an identity and being proud of who we are - something that is especially important in today's world where there is so much pressure on individuals to conform or fit into certain boxes. Finally, this hadith reminds us that even small things can have a big impact - such as a simple silver ring bearing the name of one man which could be seen all over Arabia and beyond!
