The Believed Sandals of the Prophet

SUMMARY: Anas bin Malik brought out two sandals that were believed to be the Prophet's.

Narrated Isaa bin Tahman: Anas bin Malik brought out for us, two sandals having two straps. Thabit Al-Banani said, "These were the sandals of the Prophet ".
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، قَالَ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ بِنَعْلَيْنِ لَهُمَا قِبَالاَنِ، فَقَالَ ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ هَذِهِ نَعْلُ النَّبِيِّ ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about two sandals that were believed to be the sandals of the Prophet. It was narrated by Isaa Bin Tahman and Anas Bin Malik, who brought out these sandals for people to see. Thabit Al-Banani said that these were indeed the sandals of the prophet. This hadith teaches us to respect and honor our prophets, as well as their belongings, even if we are not sure if they are truly theirs or not. We should also have faith in what others tell us about them, especially those who have knowledge in this area.
