Praying at Sunrise and Sunset

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade praying after the Fajr prayer till the sun rises and after the 'Asr prayer till the sun sets.

Narrated 'Umar: "The Prophet forbade praying after the Fajr prayer till the sun rises and after the 'Asr prayer till the sun sets". Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Some people told me the same narration (as above).

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow religious practices appropriately
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about when it is appropriate to pray. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that it is not permissible to pray after Fajr until sunrise or after Asr until sunset. This means that Muslims should not be praying during these times, as they are considered inappropriate times for prayer. Instead, Muslims should use this time to do other activities such as studying or working. This hadith also teaches us about being mindful of our time and how we use it; we should be aware of when certain activities are appropriate and when they are not so that we can make sure we are using our time wisely.
