EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Hudhaifa who was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad. In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad has forbidden us to drink or eat from gold and silver vessels as well as wearing silk or sitting on it. He also prohibited using a fabric called 'Dibaj'. These prohibitions are meant to remind us that we should not be too attached to worldly possessions but instead focus our attention on spiritual matters. We should not be too concerned with material wealth but rather strive for spiritual growth in our lives. This hadith teaches us that we should not become too attached to material things because they can distract us from our true purpose in life which is to serve Allah and follow His commands.
