The Prophet's Favourite Clothes

SUMMARY: Anas was asked what kind of clothes the Prophet liked best, and he replied that it was Hibra, a type of Yemeni cloth.

Narrated Qatada: I asked Anas, "What kind of clothes was most beloved to the Prophet?" He replied, "The Hibra (a kind of Yemeni cloth).
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ أَىُّ الثِّيَابِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ‏.‏

This hadith speaks to the importance of modesty in clothing. It is narrated by Qatada who asked Anas ibn Malik about what kind of clothes were most beloved to the Prophet.
