The Power of Good Words

SUMMARY: No contagious disease is conveyed to others without Allah's permission, but it is important to speak good words.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, "No 'Adwa (no contagious disease is conveyed to others without Allah's permission), nor Tiyarah, but I like the good Fal, ie, the good word".
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ، وَيُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ الصَّالِحُ، الْكَلِمَةُ الْحَسَنَةُ
