Sahih al-Bukhari 5717 (Book 76, Hadith 34) #5485
The Power of Allah in Disease Transmission

SUMMARY: No disease is transmitted from one person to another without Allah's permission.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, 'There is no 'Adwa (no disease is conveyed from the sick to the healthy without Allah's permission), nor Safar, nor Hama". A bedouin stood up and said, "Then what about my camels? They are like deer on the sand, but when a mangy camel comes and mixes with them, they all get infected with mangy". The Prophet said, "Then who conveyed the (mange) disease to the first one?"

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that no disease can be transmitted from one person to another without the permission of Allah. This means that even if a sick person comes into contact with a healthy person, the healthy person will not get sick unless it is allowed by Allah. The bedouin in this hadith was worried about his camels getting infected with mange, but the Prophet reminded him that it was only possible because of Allah's permission. This hadith teaches us that we should always remember and trust in the power of Allah and His wisdom when it comes to matters such as health and illness. We should also remember that He has control over all things, including our health and wellbeing, so we should always turn to Him for help and guidance when faced with difficult situations or illnesses.
