Suffering of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the suffering of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) due to sickness.

Narrated Aisha: I never saw anybody suffering so much from sickness as Allah's Messenger .
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ،‏.‏ حَدَّثَنِي بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْوَجَعُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates the suffering of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was narrated by Aisha that she never saw anyone suffer as much from sickness as Allah's Messenger (PBUH). This hadith shows us how much patience and perseverance the prophet showed in his life even when he was going through a difficult time. He endured all his hardships with grace and dignity which is something we should all strive for in our lives. We should also remember that no matter what difficulties we face in life, we should always remain patient and have faith that Allah will help us get through it.
