Sahih al-Bukhari 560 (Book 9, Hadith 37) #540
Praying at Different Times of the Day

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray at different times of the day, depending on when people were assembled and when it was dark.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet used to pray the Zuhr at midday, and the 'Asr at a time when the sun was still bright, the Maghrib after sunset (at its stated time) and the 'Isha at a variable time. Whenever he saw the people assembled (for 'Isha' prayer) he would pray earlier and if the people delayed, he would delay the prayer. And they or the Prophet used to offer the Fajr Prayers when it still dark.

QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful about praying regularly throughout our days and not miss any prayers due to laziness or forgetfulness; Be aware that prayer times can change depending on certain circumstances such as darkness or gathering with other believers for prayer; Offer Fajr prayers while it is still dark outside; Pray five times a day each time at a different time; Pray Zuhr in middle of day and Asr when sun is still bright; Pray Maghrib after sunset; Variable Time for Isha depends on when people are gathered for prayer .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that prayer is an important part of our lives. He would pray five times a day, each time at a different time. For example, he would pray Zuhr in the middle of the day and Asr when the sun was still bright. He would also pray Maghrib after sunset and Isha at a variable time depending on when people were gathered for prayer. Lastly, he would offer Fajr prayers while it was still dark outside. This teaches us that we should be mindful about praying regularly throughout our days and not miss any prayers due to laziness or forgetfulness. We should also be aware that prayer times can change depending on certain circumstances such as darkness or gathering with other believers for prayer.
