Sahih al-Bukhari 559 (Book 9, Hadith 36) #539
The Far-Reaching Sight After Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer the Maghrib prayer and after finishing, one could still see far away.

Narrated Rafi' bin Khadij: We used to offer the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet and after finishing the prayer one of us may go away and could still see as Par as the spots where one's arrow might reach when shot by a bow.

QUICK LESSONS:
Offer prayers sincerely & devotedly .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the power of prayer and how it can help us to see further than we normally would. It is said that after offering the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, one could still see as far as where an arrow shot by a bow would reach. This shows that when we pray with sincerity and devotion, our vision is enhanced in ways that are beyond our normal capabilities. It also teaches us to be mindful of what we do after praying; if we can still see so far away then surely Allah has given us a great opportunity to use this time for good deeds and righteous actions.
