Be generous with your resources no matter how little you have

This hadith narrates the story of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and one of his companions visiting an Ansari man. The Prophet asked if he had any water kept overnight in a water skin, to which the man replied that he did have some but suggested they go to the shade instead. He then poured them both some water from a bowl and milked a domestic goat into it for them to drink. This story highlights the generosity of this particular Ansari man, who was willing to offer not only water but also milk for two strangers who visited him unexpectedly. It also shows us how important hospitality is in Islam, as it is considered one of its core values. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us that we should always be generous with our resources no matter how little we have, as Allah will reward us for our kindness towards others.
