The Importance of Completing Prayers on Time

SUMMARY: It is important to complete the Asr and Fajr prayers before sunset and sunrise respectively.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "If anyone of you can get one rak'a of the 'Asr prayer before sunset, he should complete his prayer. If any of you can get one rak'a of the Fajr prayer before sunrise, he should complete his prayer".

Complete your prayer on time
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of completing the two main daily prayers, Asr and Fajer, before their respective times. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that it is essential to pray these two prayers at their designated times in order to receive full reward from Allah. He also taught that if one can manage to pray even one rak'a of either prayer before its time has passed, they should do so in order to gain maximum benefit from it. This hadith teaches us about the importance of punctuality when it comes to fulfilling our religious obligations as Muslims. It also encourages us not to waste any time when we have an opportunity for worshiping Allah SWT.
