Offer sacrifices in remembrance of God’s great gift; Be mindful & grateful for all that God has given us; Mention Allah’s name when offering sacrifices; Say Takbir when slaughtering animals; Put your foot on their sides during slaughtering process.

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sacrificing two horned rams, one black and one white in color. He did this with his own hands, mentioning Allah’s name over them and saying Takbir while putting his foot on their sides. This act of sacrificing animals is an important part of Islamic tradition that has been practiced since the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . It is done to remember the great sacrifice that God made for us by sending His beloved prophet to guide us towards righteousness and piety.
