The Prophet's Inquiry

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) asked a man if he had any meat left from the animal he had slaughtered.

Narrated Abu Qatada: (the same Hadith above, but he added); The Prophet asked, "Is there any of its meat left with you?"
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، مِثْلَهُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ هَلْ مَعَكُمْ مِنْ لَحْمِهِ شَىْءٌ

This Hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's inquiry to a man who had just slaughtered an animal. We should also be mindful of our actions and think about how they can benefit others as well as ourselves.
