QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful of your actions & responsibilities as Muslims; strive to be fair & just when dealing with others regardless of their gender or marital status .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the practice of polygamy in Islam. It was narrated by Anas bin Malik that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to have sexual relations with all his nine wives in one night. This shows that it was permissible for a man to marry more than one woman at a time during the time of the Prophet ﷺ. However, this does not mean that it is obligatory for men to marry multiple women today; rather it is only permissible if certain conditions are met and if a man can fulfill his duties towards each wife equally and justly. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about being mindful of our actions and responsibilities as Muslims; we should strive to be fair and just when dealing with others regardless of their gender or marital status.
