Sahih al-Bukhari 5165 (Book 67, Hadith 100) #4946
Protection From Satan Through Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that if a person says a certain prayer while engaging in sexual intercourse with their spouse, then any child born from this union will be protected from Satan.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet said, "If anyone of you, when having sexual intercourse with his wife, says: Bismillah, Allahumma jannibni-Sh-Shaitan wa jannib-ish-Shaitan ma razaqtana, and if it is destined that they should have a child, then Satan will never be able to harm him".

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that if one recites a special prayer while engaging in sexual intercourse with their spouse, then any child born from this union will be protected from the influence of Satan. This prayer is known as Bismillah, Allahumma jannibni-Sh-Shaitan wa jannib-ish-Shaitan ma razaqtana. It translates to “In the name of Allah, O Allah! Keep us away from Shaitan and keep Shaitan away from what you have bestowed upon us”. This hadith teaches us the importance of seeking protection through supplication and remembrance of God even during intimate moments between spouses. It also reminds us to always seek refuge in God against the influence of evil forces such as Satan who seeks to harm mankind and lead them astray.
