Sahih al-Bukhari 511 (Book 8, Hadith 158) #494
Women Passing During Prayer Does Not Annul It

SUMMARY: The hadith is about how a woman passing in front of someone praying does not annul the prayer, as it was previously thought. It also mentions that Aisha used to lie between the Prophet and the Qibla while he prayed, and she would slip away whenever she needed something.

Narrated 'Aisha: The things which annul the prayers were mentioned before me. They said, "Prayer is annulled by a dog, a donkey and a woman (if they pass in front of the praying people)". I said, "You have made us (ie women) dogs. I saw the Prophet praying while I used to lie in my bed between him and the Qibla. Whenever I was in need of something, I would slip away. for I disliked to face him".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by 'Aisha, one of the wives of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In this hadith, it is mentioned that people used to think that if a dog, donkey or woman passes in front of someone who is praying then their prayer will be annulled. However, Aisha said that this was wrong and made women seem like dogs. She also mentioned that she used to lie between the Prophet ﷺ and Qibla while he prayed and whenever she needed something she would slip away so as not to disturb him. This teaches us an important lesson which is respect for others when they are engaged in worship or any other activity which requires concentration or peace. We should never disturb anyone who is engaged in such activities even if we need something from them because it can be very distracting for them and can cause them to lose focus on what they are doing. Furthermore, this hadith shows us how women were respected during the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ despite some people thinking otherwise at times due to cultural norms or beliefs at the time.
