Sahih al-Bukhari 5110, 5111 (Book 67, Hadith 48) #4894
Forbidden Marriage of Paternal and Maternal Aunts

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade a woman from being married to a man at the same time as her paternal or maternal aunt.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet forbade that a woman should be married to a man along with her paternal aunt or with her maternal aunt (at the same time). Az-Zuhri (the sub-narrator) said: There is a similar order for the paternal aunt of the father of one's wife, for 'Urwa told me that 'Aisha said, "What is unlawful because of blood relations, is also unlawful because of the corresponding foster suckling relations".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Allah's teachings regarding marriage and respect family ties.
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that it is forbidden for a woman to be married to a man at the same time as her paternal or maternal aunt. This prohibition applies not only because of blood relations but also because of corresponding foster suckling relations. This means that if someone was breastfed by the same person who breastfed either the woman's father or mother then this would also be considered unlawful in marriage. It is important to remember that these teachings are from Allah and should be followed in order to maintain strong family ties and relationships between people.
