EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Jabir and it talks about the prohibition of marrying a woman with her paternal or maternal aunt. This means that it is not allowed for a man to marry his wife's sister or brother's wife. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade this kind of marriage as it was considered inappropriate in the Islamic faith. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught that marriage should be based on mutual love and respect between two people who are willing to commit themselves to each other for life. Therefore, any kind of marriage which does not fulfill these criteria would be considered wrong according to Islamic teachings.
