Sahih al-Bukhari 5057 (Book 66, Hadith 82) #4841
Killing Apostates in Last Days

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) warned that in the last days of the world, there will be young people with foolish thoughts and ideas who will leave Islam. He instructed to kill them wherever they are found as there will be a reward for their killers on the Day of Resurrection.

Narrated 'Ali: I heard the Prophet saying, "In the last days (of the world) there will appear young people with foolish thoughts and ideas. They will give good talks, but they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes out of its game, their faith will not exceed their throats. So, wherever you find them, kill them, for there will be a reward for their killers on the Day of Resurrection".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic law regarding apostasy , Protect one's faith from corruption or deviation , Strive to stay loyal towards one's faith

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned his followers about a group of people who would appear during the last days of this world. These people would have foolish thoughts and ideas which go against Islamic teachings and beliefs. They may even give good talks but they would still leave Islam like an arrow leaving its game. Therefore, it is important to kill them wherever they are found as there is a reward for their killers on the Day of Judgment. This hadith serves as a reminder that apostasy should not be taken lightly and those who commit it must face consequences according to Islamic law. It also teaches us that we should always strive to protect our faith from any kind of corruption or deviation from its true teachings.
