QUICK LESSONS:
Respect others' personal space, Spread out evenly in public places
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Salama and it talks about the proximity between the wall of a mosque and its pulpit. The distance between them was so small that only a sheep could pass through. This hadith teaches us to be mindful of our space in mosques as well as other places of worship. We should not take up too much space or crowd around one area, but rather spread out evenly throughout the place to ensure everyone has enough room to pray comfortably. It also teaches us to respect each other's personal space when we are in public places such as mosques or churches.
