Divine Protection of the Prophet (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) warned Abu Jahl that if he tried to harm him while he was praying, the Angels would intervene and protect him.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Abu Jahl said, "If I see Muhammad praying at the Ka'ba, I will tread on his neck". When the Prophet heard of that, he said, "If he does so, the Angels will snatch him away".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the divine protection of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that Abu Jahl threatened to harm the Prophet ﷺ while he was praying at the Ka'ba, but when he heard this, the Prophet ﷺ warned Abu Jahl that if he did so, then Allah's angels would snatch him away. This hadith teaches us that no matter how powerful or influential a person may be, they cannot harm someone who has been protected by Allah SWT and His angels. We should also take comfort in knowing that we too are under Allah's protection and He will always be there for us when we need Him most.
