Seclusion in the Cave of Hira

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was in a seclusion in the cave of Hira.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "I was in a seclusion in the cave of Hira"..(similar to the narration related by 'Ali bin Al-Mubarak, 444 above).
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، وَغَيْرُهُ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، رضى الله عنهما عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ جَاوَرْتُ بِحِرَاءٍ ‏"‏‏.‏ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's (ﷺ) experience of secluding himself in the cave of Hira. It is said that he went to this cave for spiritual retreat and contemplation, and it was during this time that he received his first revelation from Allah. This hadith teaches us that we should take time out for ourselves to reflect on our lives and seek guidance from Allah. We should also strive to be closer to Him by engaging in activities such as prayer, fasting, charity, and other acts of worship. By doing so, we can become better people who are more connected with our Creator.
