Reciting the Quran

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite a verse from the Quran.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Masud: The Prophet used to recite: "Fahal-min-muddakir (then is there any that will receive admonition?")
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ‏.‏ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ ‏{‏فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ‏}‏‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known for his recitation of the Holy Qur’an. He would often recite verses from it and encourage others to do so as well. One such verse is “Fahal-min-muddakir” which translates to “then is there any that will receive admonition?” This verse serves as a reminder for us to take heed of Allah's words and be mindful of our actions in life. It also encourages us to reflect on our deeds and strive towards righteousness in order to gain Allah's pleasure. Furthermore, this hadith highlights the importance of reciting the Qur'an regularly as it helps us stay connected with Allah and His teachings.
