Sahih al-Bukhari 4788 (Book 65, Hadith 310) #4571
The Revelation of Quran 33:51

SUMMARY: This hadith is about Aisha's reaction to the revelation of Quran 33:51, which allowed Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to postpone the turn of any of his wives and receive any one he wished.

Narrated Aisha: I used to look down upon those ladies who had given themselves to Allah's Messenger and I used to say, "Can a lady give herself (to a man)?" But when Allah revealed: "You (O Muhammad) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive any of them whom you will; and there is no blame on you if you invite one whose turn you have set aside (temporarily)'. (33.51) I said (to the Prophet), "I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates a story about Aisha, one of Prophet Muhammad’s wives. She was surprised when she heard that Allah revealed a verse in the Quran allowing Prophet Muhammad to postpone the turn of any wife and receive any one he wished. She then realized that her Lord hastens in fulfilling His wishes and desires. This hadith teaches us that we should always trust in God’s plan for us, as He knows what is best for us even if it may not make sense at first glance. We should also be grateful for all our blessings from Him, as He is always looking out for us and providing us with what we need.
