Sahih al-Bukhari 464 (Book 8, Hadith 112) #456
Performing Tawaf While Riding

SUMMARY: The hadith is about Um Salama complaining to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) about her sickness and him instructing her to perform the Tawaf while riding.

Narrated Um Salama: I complained to Allah's Messenger that I was sick. He told me to perform the Tawaf behind the people while riding. So I did so and Allah's Messenger was praying beside the Ka'ba and reciting the Sura starting with "Wat-tur wa kitabin mastur".

QUICK LESSONS:
Try your best to fulfill your religious obligations even when you are not feeling well.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Um Salama who was sick and complained to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In response, he instructed her to perform the ritual of circumambulation around the Ka'ba while riding instead of walking. He also recited a chapter from Quran known as Kitab-ul-Mastur which means ‘the concealed book’. This hadith teaches us that even when we are not feeling well, we should still try our best to fulfill our religious obligations in whatever way possible. It also shows us how important it is for us to recite Quran regularly and seek guidance from it in all matters of life.
