Sahih al-Bukhari 4731 (Book 65, Hadith 253) #4514
Visiting the Prophet (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) asked Gabriel why he does not visit them more often, and this verse was revealed in response.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet said to Gabriel, "What prevents you from visiting us more often than you visit us now?" So there was revealed:-- 'And we (angels) descend not but by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us'.(19:64)

This hadith teaches us that we should always remember that everything happens according to Allah's will and plan. We should also remember to be grateful for all of our blessings as they come from Allah alone.
