Praying with Purity

SUMMARY: The angels pray for forgiveness for a person who is praying and has not passed wind.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him".
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ، مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ، تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that when we are in the process of prayer or salat, the angels will continuously ask Allah to forgive us and show mercy on us as long as we have not done anything impure such as passing wind. This shows us how important it is to maintain purity while praying and how much Allah cares about our prayers. It also teaches us that even if we make mistakes during our prayer, Allah will still forgive us if we sincerely repent and ask for His forgiveness. Furthermore, this hadith also reminds us of the importance of having faith in Allah's mercy and compassion towards His servants.
