Sahih al-Bukhari 4548 (Book 65, Hadith 71) #4332
The Exemption of Mary and Her Son from Satan's Touch

SUMMARY: This hadith explains that when a child is born, Satan touches it and the child cries out loud, except for Mary and her son.

Narrated Sa'id bin Al-Musaiyab: Abu Huraira said, "The Prophet said, 'No child is born but that, Satan touches it when it is born whereupon it starts crying loudly because of being touched by Satan, except Mary and her son". Abu Huraira then said, "Recite, if you wish: "And I seek Refuge with You (Allah) for her and her offspring from Satan, the outcast". (3:36)

QUICK LESSONS:
Recite Surah Al Imran verse 36 seeking refuge with Allah for both mother & offspring against evil forces such as satan .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that when a child is born, it is touched by Satan which causes the baby to cry loudly. However, this does not apply to Mary and her son as they are exempt from this touch. This hadith highlights the special status of both mother and son in Islam as they are protected from any harm or evil. It also serves as a reminder for us to seek refuge in Allah for our children so that they may be safe from any harm or danger. Furthermore, this hadith also encourages us to recite (3:36) Surah Al Imran verse 36 which seeks refuge with Allah for both mother and offspring against evil forces such as Satan.
