Sahih al-Bukhari 43 (Book 2, Hadith 36) #43
The Benefits of Regular Worship

SUMMARY: Doing good deeds regularly is the best deed in the eyes of Allah and one should not overburden themselves.

Narrated 'Aisha: Once the Prophet came while a woman was sitting with me. He said, "Who is she?" I replied, "She is so and so," and told him about her (excessive) praying. He said disapprovingly, "Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity (without being overtaxed) as Allah does not get tired (of giving rewards) but (surely) you will get tired and the best deed (act of Worship) in the sight of Allah is that which is done regularly".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of regular worship in Islam. It teaches us that we should not overburden ourselves with too much worship as Allah does not tire from giving rewards for our deeds. Instead, it is better to do good deeds regularly and consistently as this will be more beneficial in the eyes of Allah. We should also remember that we have a limited capacity and so it is important to stay within our limits when doing acts of worship or any other kind of work. This hadith encourages us to strive for excellence while also being mindful about our own limitations.
