Sahih al-Bukhari 4475 (Book 65, Hadith 2) #4263
The Power of Saying 'Ameen'

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the importance of saying 'Ameen' when the Imam recites a certain verse from the Quran, as it will lead to forgiveness of past sins.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "When the Imam says: 'Ghair-il-Maghdubi 'alaihim Walad-Dallin (ie not the path of those who earn Your Anger, nor the path of those who went astray (1:7)), then you must say, 'Ameen', for if one's utterance of 'Ameen' coincides with that of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven".
