Sahih al-Bukhari 427 (Book 8, Hadith 77) #421
Building Places Of Worship At Graves Is Forbidden

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) warned against the practice of building places of worship at graves and making pictures in them, as it is considered to be the worst creature in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

Narrated 'Aisha: Um Habiba and Um Salama mentioned about a church they had seen in Ethiopia in which there were pictures. They told the Prophet about it, on which he said, "If any religious man dies amongst those people they would build a place of worship at his grave and make these pictures in it. They will be the worst creature in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic teachings, respect religious beliefs and avoid idolatry/polytheism/shirk.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a warning from Prophet Muhammad ﷺ regarding building places of worship at graves and making pictures in them. He said that this would be considered to be the worst creature in Allah's sight on the Day of Resurrection. This means that if we do this, we will not receive any reward from Allah for our actions and may even face punishment for it. It is important to remember that worshipping anyone or anything other than Allah is forbidden according to Islam, so it is important not to build places of worship at graves or make pictures there.
