EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet offering the Maghrib and Isha prayers together during his last pilgrimage known as the ‘Hajjat al Wida’. It is narrated by Abdullah bin Yazid Al Khatmi who was informed by Abu Aiyub. This hadith teaches us that it is permissible to offer two prayers at once if there is a valid reason for doing so. It also shows us how important it was for the Prophet to perform his religious duties even in difficult times such as when he was on his last pilgrimage. We can learn from this that we should always strive to fulfill our religious obligations no matter what situation we are in or how hard it may be.
