Shaving the Head During Hajjat-ul-Wada'

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) got his head shaved during Hajjat-ul-Wada'.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet got his head shaved during Hajjat-ul-Wada''.
حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَخْبَرَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ حَلَقَ رَأْسَهُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known to perform the rituals of Hajj with great devotion and dedication. One of these rituals is shaving the head during the pilgrimage known as ‘Hajjat-ul-Wada’. This ritual is a sign of humility and submission to Allah SWT. It also symbolizes a new beginning in life and a fresh start for Muslims who have completed their pilgrimage. By performing this ritual, Muslims are reminded that they should always strive to be humble before Allah SWT and seek His mercy in all matters of life. Furthermore, it serves as an example for all Muslims that they should always strive to be obedient servants of Allah SWT by following His commands without hesitation or doubt.
