EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us how to pray to Allah SWT in the most perfect way. He would recite a special supplication while bowing and prostrating during his prayers. This supplication is known as “Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika, Allahumma ighfirli” which translates to “Glorified be You, O Allah, our Lord! All the praises are for You. O Allah, forgive me!” This hadith teaches us that we should always remember to ask for forgiveness from God when we bow down in prayer. It also reminds us of the importance of praising God during our prayers and thanking Him for all His blessings. We should strive to make our prayers meaningful by reciting this supplication every time we bow down or prostrate in prayer.
