The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us how to pray to Allah SWT in the most perfect way. He would recite a special supplication while bowing and prostrating during his prayers. This supplication is known as “Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika, Allahumma ighfirli” which translates to “Glorified be You, O Allah, our Lord! All the praises are for You. O Allah, forgive me!” This hadith teaches us that we should always remember to ask for forgiveness from God when we bow down in prayer.
