Share your wealth with others; Take care of those who are less fortunate than you; Think beyond yourself when making decisions; Consider how your actions will affect others before taking action; Be generous and compassionate towards those around you; Strive towards ensuring no one is left in poverty or deprived of their basic needs.

This hadith is about sharing wealth and preventing poverty among Muslims. Umar bin Al-Khattab was willing to divide the land of conquered villages among the fighters, but he chose not to do so in order for other Muslims not be left in poverty. He preferred that it remain a common treasury for them and that they distribute its revenue amongst themselves.
